"Awardy Ward Worhol..."

Our little Love Muffin, Senorita, has bestowed an award upon me... Thank you SO much, Ms Senorita... Like I said earlier, I find my writing to be... much like a fart in a whirlwind... just all over the place!!!  But still, it's nice to be recognized...

The conditions for accepting this award are as follows:
 (01) Thank the person who gave the award... Senorita... Thank you!!!

 (02) Tell you seven things about me that you probably don't know...

 (03)  Select seven bloggers and pass the award on to them...
__________
OK... seven things about me...

# 1 -  I am too nice for my own good... people take advantage of me.  As hard as I try to stand up for myself, I still tend to want to let everyone else win... normally, at my expense...

# 2 -  I like the occasional foray to the 'dark side' that I visit occasionally... I find that I tend to be stepping outside of some boundaries that were established for me back when I was a kid... or were even established back during my once-upon-a-time marriage...

# 3 -  I try to donate blood every 8 weeks... in honor... in Memory of my friend, Barry...

# 4 -  I am a care-taker... and that gets me in trouble.  At times, I wish I could walk away from people easier than I can... instead, I try to help... I try to fix... and again, this is normally at my expense...

# 5 -  I struggle over the following statements and the validity of each... I am sure one of them is true... I just don't know which one... (A) Life is easy; I make it more complicated than it really is... (B)  Life is complicated; I try to over-simplify it...

# 6 -  I'm a cuddler... so there...

# 7 -  My favorite TV shoes... 'Storm Chasers'... 'The Walking Dead'... 'Ghost Hunters'...  I have chased storms before... the last time I chased a system, I saw 6 tornadoes and 9 funnel clouds... I wish I could have had a digital camera with me.  Mother Nature is unbelievable.

I can't believe that there were no 'Black Shoe' revelations here... I must be in a serious mood today...  There were no sexual innuendos... or Hell, even explicit sexual references... Senorita even referred to me as a perv... and I let this opportunity slip away from me!!! I must be losing it!!!!
__________

Now... to pass this on to seven bloggers... hmmm...

# 1 - Robin @ Your Daily Dose... Robin writes for and about other people as much as she writes for and about herself... I like this about her.

# 2 - KittyCat @ Perception Is Everything... She is a new read for me... I am enjoying this blog.

# 3 - Nitebyrd @ A Dust Bunny In The Wind... I can't explain it... just go read and enjoy!!!

# 4 - Marnie  @ What Red Said...  She recently wrote about a book that I want...

# 5 - Danielle @ Mid-Life Mommy... She and I have/are travelling similar paths... so I connect to her in this regard...

# 6 -  Steve @ Steve's Nude Memphis Blog...  His mind works at a level and speed where I wish mine did!!! If you haven't looked at his blog, please do!

# 7 - Jamie @  Red Red Whine... She has been busy with work and real life and all of that shiznit lately, but when she finds time to write, she is good...
__________
Disclaimer:  these are the bloggers that I selected at 3.33 PM on December 1, 2010... on another day at a different time, my selection could have been entirely different...

Thank you again, Ms Senorita, for thinking of me...

  1. Interesting stuff. I proudly accept your award and am going to try to work it into my alphabet plan for today. I found #5 particularly interesting. I think that maybe that happens more than we realize with lots of stuff. It is definitely something to puzzle about later. Thank you for thinking of me humble sir. And you aren't really a perv. A disturbed mind, at times, but not so much a perv.

  2. Well, THANK YOU! I'm so honored! I wore my hi-top, goth (green), Chuck's today and didn't even know I was getting a "stylish" award. I'll be damned!

Are you really sure you want to know 7 things about me? :\

  4. Dark shoes huh? Is that like black shoes or just a deep deep wine color?

  5. Good answers. But you need to be a better friend to yourself, Red Shoes. People often mistake kindness for weakness.

  9. @ Robin... Poot.. and I SO wanna be a perv... ;o)

@ Nitebyrd... You of ALL people should know that Chucks are the VOGUE!!! Hell, I'm sporting my red ones today!!!

I definitely want to know 'Se7en' things about you!!!

    @ Danielle... Ooops!!! :oD

@ Charlene... they are really black shoes. Senorita once asked me for a warning if things may not be work place friendly... and Magnolia mentioned this as well... so the Black Shoes thing will be a warning!!! ;o)

@ Ubermouth... yeah, I can be notorious about not taking care of myself... my own concerns... my own interests. I just need to be reminded from time to time. I've surprised people before when I've reached my end, and start defending my ground. I think you are right in that I was perceived as being weak.. I'm definitely not... ;o)

@ Gobbles... if/when I learn something about #5, you will be the first one I notify!!! ;o)

  11. @ KittyCat... Barry was a doctor of internal medicine... and my best friend ever. He drowned in a tragic accident. I had been trying to think of something I could do in memory of him, and one afternoon while walking over to the Union, I see the Bloodmobile.. and I thought... "THAT's IT!!!"

He was a great friend... a good guy... and I miss him immensely...

    You are WELCOME!!!
