Postings of whatever crosses my mind that I perceive to be relevant to the World as I view it... Rational...Irrational... Sane... Insane... Who gets to make that call?? I DO!!!
It seems like only yesterday. I had a major crush on him from being 13 years old until the day he died. He filled my teen years like no other personality. Even reading negative stuff didn't put me off him.
I went to The Beatles Experience museum in Liverpool and stood in awe at the White Room exhibition. The curtain was blowing softly by the white piano and his voice could be heard singing 'Woman'.......I couldn't hold back the tears.
I was never a Beatles fan (stop screaming at me!) but for some reason hearing about his death was/is a JFK, 9/11 moment. I remember exactly where I was and it was like a kick in the chest. Weird.
I saw your comment on my blog. Thanks for taking the time to read my post and leaving a comment. I appreciate it.
My mom was a huge Beatles nut. It's amazing how after all these years how much influence they have had on bands and how people still worship these guys. True icons.
30 years.

Has it been that long? It seems like just yesterday I was watching the news when he got shot. He was too young.
ReplyDeleteAnother shot that was heard all around the world.
