"Too Hot To Be A Banker???"

This is an interesting story I found while screwing off researching a topic worthy of a blog post.

Debrahlee Lorenzana claims she was fired from her job as a banker for Citibank in NYC because her bosses thought she was 'too hot...'

Dayum... I'd "do business" with her...

You can read the article and get the dirt on the allegations... I'm sure that banks, for the most part... as well as most professional offices, have dress codes of some sort.  But it seems that she was even told not to wear fitted business suits...

The top photo looks like it would be 'OK' attire for the work place... I might ask her not to 'slink' so much however... it could be distracting to production...

The photos above and below were outfits selected by her lawyer for her up-coming trial... I guess to present a better image... I'm always amazed at some of the crime stories I see... where the perp looks dangerous as Hell... yet, when they show up in court, you see these neatly groomed young men that wouldn't dare pop a cap in your ass harm a fly...

She may be too hot to work in a bank, but this blog has no dress code...

We don't have a dress code here at Alluvial Flood Plain State University... although I got a letter of reprimand and damn near got fired for wearing Red Chuck Taylors to work... I posted about that HERE...

Admittedly, these red shoes are not hot... but they sure are a Hell of a lot of Fun!!

Her lawyer admits that Ms Lorenzana is a babe... but I wonder if this next statement reflects well on his case... or if he wants to be Ms Lorenzana's next ex...

He says: "It's like saying that we can't think any more 'cause our penises are standing up- and we cannot think about you except in a sexual manner- and we can't look at you without wanting to have sexual intercourse with you. And it's up to you, gorgeous woman, to lessen your appeal so we (guys) can focus!"

Sooo... what about it?  Is she too hot to be a banker?  Is there a dress code at your place of employment??

I mean... it's NOT an accident that female pharmaceutical reps are HOT...

They know what the docs want to see when they are dealing drugs...

Speaking of docs... what about a sexy female doctor?

This gal greatly resembles Laura...
She was a cardiologist...

Does anyone ever complain if they have a good looking male banker... or a sexy male doctor... or, God forbid, a good looking, sexy, finance professor?!?!?!?

Love...

  1. The bank wanted a hot business sales woman; the bait. They hired her and sent her out but when the business was to be done they flipped it to a man who had taken all the training and knew everything to run the business. Was he too ugly to be a banker? They didn't tell her she was only the bait. They told her she had this position, and I'm sure there was a sheet of paper that itemized her job duties and responsibilities.

All the intervening treatment was just their way of getting her out of there. Maybe if she'd sucked the cock of the guy who hired her or his buddy, she'd have been allowed to stay a while, but that would mean she was forced to do another job than the one she had been hired for. I'm assuming that wasn't on the itemized list of duties.

This kind of thing is "how things are," out there. Most corporations don't allow that kind of manager to be on their payroll for fear of lawsuits. Obviously this process of hiring a bright beautiful person, using them and expecting them to go along is how it's done in that bank.

The reality is she isn't to hot be a banker; they are too ignorant to be an employer.

  2. If I ever got fired for being "too hot" I would take it as a compliment. That's what I would do !

    She is beautiful though.

Our dress code is business professional. I am blessed in the chest, so I do have to cover up more than the average woman, because any openness in the shirt makes it look like I am trying too hard.

  3. At my previous job, it all depended on what I was doing that day. In the lab - totally casual. In the OR or seeing patients - obviously in scrubs. Kissing the ass of hospital bureaucrats - business attire.

  4. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE !

My Donna has been fired for a similar reason.

Not fired because she BROKE the dress code, but because the other jealous/catty women in the office would always start shit with her. She could wear the SAME style of clothing as every other woman in the place, and yet SHE ALONE would get sent to the boss for "dress code" violations, simply because of her figure.

I guess hotness DOES have a downside.

  5. This is total B.S. and yet typical. If this were a man in this situation, the press would be having a field day.

  6. Charlene made the best points. If that was the situation involved in the hiring and firing of the woman they did wrong.

On the other hand we have a lawsuit going on here about girls being fired for being too fat to be a Hooters girl. Seems like women can't win either way.
