Kids' Drawrings...
And you know my name is Simon...
and I like to do drawrings...
I always liked the 'Saturday Night Live' skit with Mike Meyers... where he would sit in the tub and talk about all kinds of stuff with the TV audience... sometimes, it was about his artwork, but it often went off on other topics.
Anyhoo....
Check this out...
This is a drawing that that my daughter, GirlShoes, did of me when she was about 4 years old... I have to admit, it looks just like me!! She explained to me that the blue flecks on my face were my whiskers... I wonder what color they would be today if she were to draw me...
The rest of these... they aren't kid drawings, but if they were, I would want them to be my kids... I think. For example, look at this one...
It appears that 'Daddy' and 'Bich' wrestle... and that Jr. gets to stand outside and listen in... I wonder what kind of sounds 'Bich' makes??
And, what about this one??
It appears that Mommy, and her career,
has really imprinted on her little girl!!
If you have, or have had little ones, then you have
many of these kinds of drawings laying around.
But... would you post THIS one on your refrigerator door??
Oddly enough...
I would...
And then there is this great story about...
horses... or was it about...
hores...
And here's another horse drawing...
It seems the horse behind is hurt... and the horse on all fours is
helping it walk...
Well, if someone told me that story,
I'd call BULLSHIT on it!!!
And, I don't know WHAT this is below...
It's a horse that looks more like a Brontosaur
than it does a horse...
With multiple peckers, no less...
Do you have any drawings you or your kids have completed?
I would love to see them...

Haha! Kids crack me up.
ReplyDeleteI'll look and see. I don't recall any of this nature. But I'm old now. So who knows?
ReplyDeleteLOL, kids are so honest. Some of those pictures are so adorable. My two year old granddaughters pictures adorn our fridge.
ReplyDeleteOhhh how I loved that SNL bit! "Droooooowerings".. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post. Fun stuff.
Hores eat carrots! Love it.
ReplyDeleteThe Scissors made me bark with laughter.
I love kids. They're so innocently funny
I'm still laughing at "Bich"! I wonder if that's what dad calls his girlfriend. Jeez!
ReplyDeleteLMAO!!!!!!!!! I do... but you gotta see my refrigerator to see them.
ReplyDeleteOne time my man-child went to spend the summer at his Dad's house... he came home (he was young... maybe 5ish)and said - several times - that his Dad and his Step-Mom scream at each other a lot... I wondered at the time if they were wrestling... LMAO!!!

DeleteI can tell you about that.
GROSS was always GROSS.
And RICK the PRICK?
No better way to describe him.
He was a molester at 12.
GER is something else.
he was beaten by priests.
And BERIRO cold as ice.
TORONTO got a KERR with MASTESPANKER and RED DON gives up " Paradise".
CRISCRO- ONO- ROVE included.
Well, there was this one that one of 'my' kids drew at work...

My kids never drew anything like that.
ReplyDeleteI love the "wrestling" one the best!!
ReplyDeleteI can't decide if I like the whiskers under the eyes best or the ... um .. scissors.
ReplyDeleteThe butt sniffing horse is pretty good too.
There's nothing like a child's interpretation of the world. Sorry, Shoes, I don't have any children... that I know of.
ReplyDeleteomigod, i simply must borrow one of these for my site! is that okay, shoes?
ReplyDeleteOh the innocents of children ...yeah I've had the Dogs barking wondering what is being done to their mommy..but thankfully not my son....He would have walked in for sure..what would I say...just ummm UfC fighting
ReplyDeleteThis is the funniest blog I have read today! Those drawings were priceless!! The one your daughter drew, however, will likely give me nightmares.
ReplyDeletedamn you shoes, it hurts to laugh! :)))))
ReplyDelete*Jessica... Hey you... kids are great... even if they do eventually grow up to be 'pain-in-the-ass' adults like me... :oD
ReplyDelete*Kurt... I'm old, too... blah...
*Adsila... I like kids, too, but I've threatened mine with death if they fix me up w/ grand kids any time soon... HA!!
