"A Black Shoes Post..."

"Friday Shiznits..."

Someone asked in a comment the other day about what a 'Black Shoes' post was...


A while back,  Magnolia over at Magnolia Thoughts was talking about a post I had written, and about how it was NOT very "work place friendly"... and how she had to be careful when opening one of my posts...  I do have to admit that I never really know if one of my posts is going to be thought-provoking, or one of those "WTF" kind of things... 






So I created the idea of using a 'Black Shoes' post for those that just may not be work place friendly... 


So here goes...

I hope that there are homes for people like this...

    Shoes Baby. I love you, black, red or otherwise. I loved this post but have to admit that I felt I should have been a bit stoned to watch the desert island one. And Bart Simpson? Brilliant!

    oh dear lord, I am still laughing! The Homer lookalike is hilarious and I laughed for 5 min until I realized it might be me. The cat girl, well, bless her heart is all I can say. And you are right, that should make anyone stop drinking...hilarious though!

    I now have to follow you. The Homer Simpson picture with the fat woman was my favorite! I think most of my posts are "Black Shoe" posts. But those ones are my favorite. If it is out of line to be reading at work, that means you just made one great post.

    @ AutumnForest.... There is a HUGE part of me that hopes that was a serious video... I am not sure, as other commentors have alluded to... that is why I mentioned it as 'supposedly' being an eHarmony video... we can only hope it was real.

    I made a nearly identical video to the one by the cat lover, but I'm a dog lover, so take out the word cats and put in the word dogs (well, also put in an aging man with a beard), and you've got my video in spades. You're not trying to say that that dear cat-loving woman and I are both bonkers, now are you?

    I saw your comment on Linda's blog, and assumed you were from Mississippi, which, of course, you are. I too am from Mississippi, but I left there in '86, and never go back anymore. Oregon suits me better, but I do miss the history and the sub-tropical vegetation.
