"Signs, Signs, Ev'ry where Signs..."

Howdy folks... what a day today was... busy... hectic... shiznit like that...  Stupid shiznit happening that is just down right difficult to process.

More nonsensical photos here... I guess since it appears I am going to have plenty of time here to screw off, I need to be going ahead and practicing... you know??

Mostly, they are about signs...

So here goes nothing...

This really isn't a sign... but... what if FedEx and UPS got into a fight...
Who would win???
I think we know now!!!

My buddy, Liam Larry, spends way too much time reading trivia shiznit, where I spend too much time blogging... but Liam Larry was SO excited when he read about the FedEx logo and the arrow that is in it... can you see it???

Here... let me help you...

There... does THAT help???

This has to be an example of 'Dot' Indian (not feather Indian) wiring...
Have you ever seen those fuckers drive???
'nough said...

Somebody that is raising Hell about Gambling, needs to worry about learning how to spell...
Or is that 'spel?'

The person who painted this sign must have
attended the school in the above photo...
Just sayin'...

I guess it's better to have been a 'Dumfart'
than a 'Dumfuck'...

Hmmmm...
College or Weed...
College or Weed...
College or Weed....

Yeah... now... to get to College, you go down here and take a right at Hwy 202...
You can't miss it...
I promise...

This place sounds like the perfect place to buy wedding gear for a red neck wedding...

Hmmm...

Red.Neck.Chic...
Here's a new marketing gimmick for you!!!

On a very serious note, I have been asked to speak at a Memorial Service that has been planned for my friend, Robert... who died back in July...  I posted about the death of Robert HERE.  I miss him so... he was such a great part of this place.

I miss you, Buddy!!!!!!!!

  1. Great signs. All chuckle worthy. Since you didn't indicate how you felt about this speaking engagement, I am not sure how to respond. Most of the time, speaking in front of people about people who have passed who were really important to you is very difficult. It doesn't matter that you logically know that they are in a better place, etc. The problem is that you want them in this place. With you. It is very selfish actually. We miss them. We want them here. They have left a hole in our lives. And then there is the bigger picture of all the lives that they will not get to make better, etc. Basically, it just sucks. That is the downsides. The upside is that you get an opportunity to share what a wonderful person this person was to you. Perhaps, share a side that many people never got to see while he was living. And, maybe, he will touch lives in death that he didn't in life. I'm amazed by the people who do that. So, I wish you well with that one. I think that the words will come if you open yourself up and allow them to flow.

  2. I haven't heard that song in 10 years if not longer. =) Always brings a smile to my face.

Good luck with your speach. Take it from the heart and you can't go wrong.

  3. That sign seems useful. Buy the gown, a gun and beer. Put the gown on the bride, give the groom the beer to drink and motivate him to stand up and marry her with the gun!

I asked the fed-ex guy the other day about the logo... he didn't know that... he's still my fed-ex guy but I KNOW my UPS guy could beat the crap out of him 'cause my UPS guy is cool like that. LOLOL

Thanks for the marketing ploy... you had me at "hussy"

As for your speech... say what's in your beautiful heart and it will be such an honor to Robert.

  7. @ Robin... Hey you... I LOVED the 'Seinfeld' reference you sent my way in your blog... that was one of my favorite episodes!!!

Re: Speaking on Robert's behalf... I've told stories end-on-end about Robert since his death... and now, I am drawing blanks on it!! WTF?!?!?!? But I've already started an outline... It will be humorous.. because our friendship was... it will be honest... and it will hurt to give... I miss my friend.

@ Hi there, PeeDee... you know, that particular version was by 'Tesla'... the original was by 'The Five Man Electrical Band...' It's a great song...

@ Red.Neck... so, you pit your UPS man against your FedEx man? Is it something kinda like a fight of honor for the fair maiden 'Gobbles?'
