HAPPY EASTER!!!!
I'm worried about my mindset today...
Well, not really...
Although I am not necessarily what I would call a religious individual, I am greatly respectful of the religious views of others... I really am... even though after this post, one is going to think otherwise...
Maybe it's an overload of simply too much 'Walking Dead'...
Maybe not...
I'm just not sure...
Zombie Easter Eggs???
The way my synapses seem to be firing today,
Zombie Jesus would be greatly disappointed...
AUGH!!!!
Oddly enough, this is probably the most disturbing image in this post...
Hmmm...
Maybe I want an Easter Basket after all...
Seriously...
Happy Easter...

I'm sure the kind of "bunnies" you prefer are the ones that come straight out of the pages of Playboy.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Shoes!!

The pic is posted on my Easter blog. Happy Easter Shoes!!

Happy Easter to you and I guess if you believe in the Resurrection he is somewhat of a Zombie but if you take Communion and believe in Transubstantiation then he is a reverse Zombie as you are eating him!
ReplyDeleteJesus H. Christ, Ryan...
DeleteNow THAT'S heavy!!!
HAR!!

Jesus H. Christ: does the H stand for Holy??? just askin' lol.... Hope u are feeling better... and you aren't the only one that's not super religious.....:-)
DeleteIt's interesting that you should ask, Chris... here are some possibilities that I found on-line...
Delete(1) "It stands for "Haploid." This is an old bio major joke, referring to the unique (not to say immaculate) circumstances of Christ's conception. Having no biological father, J.C. was shortchanged in the chromosome department to the tune of one half."
(2) " a reader makes the claim that the H derives from the taunting Latin inscription INRH that was supposedly tacked on the cross by Roman soldiers: Iesus Nazarenus, Rex Hebrei (Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Hebrews). Trouble is, the inscription is usually given as INRI: Iesus Nazarenus, Rex Iudaeorum (J.C., King of the Jews)."
Now, granted... I'm willing to go with your 'Holy' comment... makes total sense to me... :oD

Oh... btw... I am starting to feel better... my voice is finally starting to return... this has been about the longest (about 3 1/2 weeks) it's ever been affected by something like this. I NEED to be able to yell at students!!!! :oD

Happy Easter to you!!

You're the first one to make me laugh out loud today, Shoes... so that's pretty good going. I wouldn't mind an Easter basket either. You can keep the zombie eggs though. What you need is chocolate vanilla with hot anal beaver glands. What?! anal beaver glands. Haven't you heard?
ReplyDeleteHot... Anal... Beaver Glands??
ReplyDeleteWTF?!?!?!?!
HAR!!!!
Now THAT is an Easter post over there at your place!!
~shoes~
It's always Easter at my place, Shoes... Just maybe not everyone's Easter, is all.
DeleteI got nothing for the post. However, I will wish you a very Happy Easter. XOXO.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, Robin!!

One day my grandkids are going to tell a Zombie Jesus joke in the wrong setting; I'm sure of it. It's all new to me. My only Easter joke is the conversation that takes place with Jesus on the cross. "Peter, Peter." "Yes, Lord?" "I can see your house from here."
ReplyDeleteHA!!
DeleteYes, it would always be in the 'most wrong' setting... that's what my kids would seem to do.
I like your Easter joke the best of all!!
Happy Easter to you!!

I am not religious, as I see religion to be largely ceremony and tradition, but everything we enjoy in Nature did not just "happen." Thus, I am celebrating Easter with my family today, and I wish everyone a Happy Easter - except Google, which chose to post a picture of Caesar Chavez on its Home Page despite the two-million Christians who should be respected on this day. Is it a sin to say "assholes" on Easter?
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon, JJ!
DeleteI celebrate Easter as well!!
Re: Google... I SAW that this morning!!!
WTF?!?!?!?!?!!?
I wish that Google had a 'do not like' button!
No, it is NOT a sin to say 'assholes' on Easter!
Grrrr....
Rant off... :oD

"I'm worried about my mindset"
ReplyDeleteHahahaha--
I'm always worried about ur mindset.
Not really.
So I joined up on Christian Mingle on Thursday or thereabouts--
I can't stop laughing Professor Red Shoes.
How bad is that I crossed off a lot of men that "I have decided I cannot have sex with."
Hahaha--
What a silly weekend (KKK in town on Saturday). I had to leave town and go to Mississippi to catch a break.
Zombies--I think they have been to Memphis and sucked quite a few brains out already.
oh my goodness!!! this is soooooooo funny!!!! I love zombies! I mean, they are not chasing me for my brain hehehehe
ReplyDeleteI've been totally versed in the Zombie Apocalypse survival training from my 19 year old son! If they attack, we're ready =P
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great Easter! We found a dead bunny at Steven's Easter weekend (so sad). He thinks perhaps a hawk killed it but just maybe it was a zombie instead!
We sacrified a pig in honor of the dead Jewish guy... and dyed eggs and I made Bunny Bags (instead of baskets! LOL)
ReplyDeleteRight after my "deconversion" one of my kids asked, "Why do people wear crosses? Don't they know that it represents a torture device?"
*sigh*
Cynicism begins early here.
Oh, you are going to LOVE this... or hate it! ;-)

ReplyDeleteHAR!!!
DeleteI think He does... Hell, he'd better have!!!
If not, I'm really screwed!!!!
