Friday!!!
Let's start off with a test...
Which of these ladies above is blonde?
I will disclose the answer later...
Meanwhile...
I suppose this could be an interesting use for post-it notes.
Should work for either gender, I suppose...
This is why men, more often than not,
don't make good crime scene witnesses.
Not much more to be said here...
It is this kind of things that drive us teachers to drink...
or to drink more...
Much More...
If you don't get it, ask, and I will explain it.
Another self explanatory cartoon...
Recent studies have indicated that alcohol abuse use tends to
have some medicinal healing qualities...
However...
it hinders spelling...
It's aisle, not isle...
Let me help you with that selection...
Here is another interesting beer commercial for your viewing pleasure.
All I can say is that I never had anything like that happen to me at the beach...
Every time I watch her move close to him at the end, I start 'motorboating' it... if'n you know what I mean...
This next video, I reckon, shows the effect of G-force on articles of clothing...
I never had anything like this happen while I've been driving either...
This next video is a commercial extolling safe sex...
Hmmmmmm... latex...
Here's the answer to the quiz at the beginning of the post...
However, an astute observer would have noticed that
she is the only one with the wrong leg lifted...

I am extreemly astute. But please don't give me any of that math shit or I will be drinking right along side you!
ReplyDeleteHey you...
DeleteHere's the answer... start with our original equation of:
(a+b)^n
Let's substitute numbers for our variables:
(4x - 3)^2
= (4x - 3)(4x - 3)
= 4x*4x - 3*4x - 4x*3 + 3*3
= 16x^2 - 12x - 12x + 9
= 16x^2 - 24x + 9
All that goober did was spread out the original equation. Of course, drinking is more fun! :oD
What's your choice? I'll go ahead and pour you a stiff one! ;o)

Great stuff! I note with some amusement that you couldn't help but correct the error in the "alcohol isle" picture. I'm the exact same way; I can share something with an error, though I too must disclaim it, as though pointing out to my friends (many of which undoubtedly wouldn't notice) that I'm not so clueless as to make such an obvious error.
ReplyDelete-Jack
Hi there, Jack...
DeleteYeah, spelling and subject/verb alignment really get to me. Maybe I've been teaching too long. I know that when I write something, I go back and re-read, and even then, mistakes get past me. This is why when we write anything that is research-oriented, we ask a colleague to proof read it for us.
We tend to not be able to catch our own mistakes...
How's Life, Jack?

LMBO!
ReplyDeleteall the testing makes me want to get belligerent.
:) robelyn
Hi there, Robelyn.
DeleteYou speak of being belligerent but I've never seen you that way... :op

I'm quilty when it comes to spelling mistakes and you would think i would notice it while I'm writing it but I notice it once I post it. weird.
ReplyDeleteFirst, i have seen the blonde question and the condom comercial. Love it!!
Motorboating! lol!! I can hear you now.
Do we get points if we hit the target in that one picture?
Hey you...
DeleteWell, we just don't notice our own mistakes. When one is composing, it is easy to use 'their' or there' when we mean 'they're'.
Even after writing and later proofing, I still find mistakes in my posts.
Of course you get the points...

I failed majorly in choosing the blond one :P Maybe its time to dye my hair blonde :P
ReplyDeleteNoooooooooooooo... don't dye it!!!
DeleteFrom a guy's standpoint, it is easy to get lost in that photo anyway. :oD
