Love that mermaid pic! Who knew mermaids drank beer. Whenever it rains up here I always think of Rihanna's song "Umbrella"
ReplyDeleteYou guys down south get hurricanes while up here we get snowstorms in the winter. Stay safe, my friend.
Hi, Princess...
DeleteI'm fine where I am. Things are getting bad in NOLA... I'm worried about my goofball daughter...
I like that mermaid too!!!

Sleepless night tonight.
ReplyDeleteI have been in one of everything. I experienced the hurricane inlsnd Raleigh, NC back in '89. Hugo maybe. I remember the wind and LOVED it. I wanted to drive to beaches for NOREASTERS.
Shannon well let us let her enjoy her adventure. No? Too late in a couple of hours.
She has got unknown people praying for her.
Sincerely since she is there I hope she enjoys the rush and excitement.
She will be all right. She will be all right.
Take care. I would tell u too sleep right. But daddies r suppose to stay up and worry about us.

Having seen NOLA after Katrina, I'd definitely have my ass out of there. We didn't even get Isaac's full fury and have been flooded!
ReplyDeleteYour daughter will be okay. She will be. No matter what, she must have some of your sense in there. ;)
Hey you...
DeleteI totally agree!! I wouldn't even have to have been told!!
She has my level of sense?!?!?
You give me WAY too much credit!!!

Love James Taylor! Praying you daughter is safe. I can't even imagine being in a hurricane. Excitement? Fear? I do love rain and a good (safe) storm.
ReplyDeleteHey you... I also love James Taylor. Some how, he recently came to Memphis and I missed him... ARGH!!!!
DeleteI enjoy storms as well, but I also have a survival instinct that she seems to not have.
I hope all is well with you!

My thoughts are with you Shoes, and also your goofball daughter. I was watching it on the news in the UK this morning, and thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteFab choices with the music. I love John Hiatt's voice!

Was going to ask if your daughter is ok. It looks like she is.It looks like a wet mess down there. So far so good up here, not the gully washer was expecting.Peace from T-town Ala.
ReplyDeleteHi, Mary... it's the same way here... windy and rainy. Not as much rain and predicted...
ReplyDeleteMy daughter was fortunate. They have debris and stuff from the storm. No power since Tuesday night... she says that it's still raining and some wind there, I suppose much like what you and I are receiving.
Now she's fussing because it might be a week before they get power back.
With her, it's always something... :op
I'm glad things are ok there in Tuscaloosa as well...
~shoes~

ReplyDelete;)
All in all, dear Victoria... I'd rather it be raining women...

Goofball daughters are God's way of reminding you to keep your sense of humor. ;) I'm sure she'll be just fine, but I'll be keeping my fingers crossed just in case!
ReplyDeleteKeep us updated, and let's hope that little mermaid can swim.
Hey you... my children are chips off the old block, so that makes me a goofball as well... and I am proud to be one.
DeleteHe texted me that her power is now back on, and that her area of NOLA is in massive clean-up. Even though this was a "small" storm, she and the City were fortunate.
I hope all is well with you!

Red glad to see you still have your sense of humor :-) Mermaid is ready for some rain.
ReplyDeleteAna... I found early on that a sense of humor and a good attitude will get us through most difficult times.
