"Tag!! I'm IT!!!"

That lil Love Munchkin that calls herself 'Senorita' has tagged me to tell some things about myself... scary... very very scary...

I have to guess predict where I might be in ten years... Hmmm...

At my age, I could be dead...

I don't know... I would like to get three more years in at Alluvial Flood Plain State University... just for retirement reasons...

When I got divorced 13 years ago, I had hoped that I would be in a serious relationship... even married by the time I got to where I am now... I'm a bit surprised that I am not... I've ended more relationships than I have had ended on me...

I thought Laura was for real... I thought she was it... I was wrong...
When Laura had asked me to move to another city and state back in the Fall, I talked to some companies there... as well as other universities and colleges... and felt good about job opportunities...

I am open-minded about what happens in the years ahead... If I get my three more years in, good... if not, good... my future isn't predicated by any one thing that is going on in my Life...

I want to be in Love again... I hope I don't have to wait 10 years...  I wouldn't mind living closer to my daughter in New Orleans... that's a terribly romantic city... I wouldn't mind living out West... there are great places there... I wouldn't mind living in or around San Francisco...

And... If I am dead... I have told my kids that I want to be cremated and have my ashes scattered at the base of one of The Mittens at Monument Valley... I can't think of a more beautiful place for my remains to spend eternity...

In the meantime, I think I shall continue to look for the love of my Life... who knows where she is...

Thank you, Senorita, for thinking of me...

Hmmm... I need to select five bloggers... Let's see...

I think Christine at "I'm Here" ...
Spring Flower at "A Girl's Gotta Have Options"...
"Tuppenny" I think would be interesting...
Jaime at "RedRedWine"
and "Anything Fits..." over at "Anything Fits A Naked Man"...

  8. I too thought that after my divorce 11 years ago that I would have found love again by this time but I haven't. Oh well, I hope when I move to Atlanta things will change in that department.

  9. @ Ms JenJen... why thank you, sweetie... I appreciate those words... er... what was it you found sweet? My wanting to be in love... or my wanting my ashes dumped at Monument Valley... ;o)

    Just kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@ Bathwater... am I gonna have to come up there and kick yer ass??? ;o)

@ Senorita... I ADORE the San Francisco area... the first time I was out that way, I rented a beach house for a week up on Bodega Bay... Did the wine country rounds... made the markets at Santa Rosa... what a beautiful place!!

@ Darn Girl... things will work out relationship-wise... I've had a few broken hearts... but also a great deal of fun along the way... :oD Some of it even a bit on the kinky side...

@ Tee... I don't understand why some people get into relationships so easily while others struggle so... I live in a rather small community... had a friend who worked for St Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis... I commented once to her that it had to be easier to date in Memphis than where I live... and she said 'no... the percentages of available/unavailable... desirable/undesirable are still the same... so she assured it me was just as frustrating... *sighs*
