    1. Hi, Stephen... thank you... he was my buddy and will stay in my memory for the rest of my Life...

I don't let people too close to me very easily, but once they are in, they are always friends...

    1. Hi there, ~kimber... he was my pal... he has had health issues for some time.... he always wanted to travel to Monument Valley with me... I told him that if he ever got well enough to travel, I would pack his ass up in the car and we would go...

Thank you for your kind words... *huggles*

    1. Hi, Steven... it is... this has been a tough time for losses for me... I do believe I am having a more difficult time with my friend's death than I was that of my sister... and that's because she wasn't a nice person... things she had done in the past...

Scooter is my pal and will always be with me... he just won't be here...

Thank you for your kind words...

    1. Hey you... I posted a song for Scooter on my FB page this morning... he had been in my thoughts today... and just moments after posting the song, I got the message that he had died.

I had posted the song about the time he passed...

The song was 'What A Wonderful World'... by Satchmo...

  6. I think you should still go to Monument Valley, Shoes. Take along a small something that belonged to Scooter and sit with it; have some reflection. He'll be with you. He'll know.

I'm so sad for you xxxxxxx

  7. Hey you... good morning...

He had wanted to go to Monument Valley with me... but just wasn't well enough to make that trip... According to his sister, one of his requests was that I place his ashes out there...

    I can make that happen...

I'm ok... I'm just sad that he is gone...

    2. Chris... you c'mon... the first few Cadillac margaritas will be my treat...

... as for that song, that is by Warren Zevon... one he wrote when he learned he was dying...

The lyrics are spot on... that only someone experiencing Death from that perspective could write...

There are some great touching songs out there... another favorite is 'Carved In Stone,' by the Subdudes...

As for turning on the water works, I write from the heart when I write about things like this...

      Peace to you, dear...

    1. Hi there, Sandra... Scooter was really a neat guy... so smart... so brilliant... such a goofball...

      |A group of us went and had 'Margaritas for Scooter' last night... we laughed... we cried... it was so much fun... and when we left, one of my friends laid down his Kroger Valued Shopper Card at the counter...

Scooter would always do this just so the cashier would have to tell him that wasn't a debit card...

We are SO going to miss him!!

  13. Red I told you this before, that I wasn't to believe life continues beyond our material body. I am reading Proof of Heaven and recently finished Many Lives Many Master... The evidence definetly gets you thinking...
