Oh, What The Fuck...


Today has been interesting so far... it is currently 10:06AM, Shoes Time... and I came within a breath of telling a student that I thought he looked just like Chaz Bono... 


I didn't think it would end well, and I just don't feel up to fighting that battle today... so I passed.


But there's always next week...


A student phoned me at home this morning at about 7:00 AM... he wanted to tell me that he wouldn't be in class today because he 'was in Oxford shacked up with a girl...'


The person who came up with this line must have been a marketing professional...






This below SO fits my demeanor today...




So I've been on a ZZ Top kick here lately... you know, the little ol' band from Texas... on of my favorite albums of theirs is 'Fandango!'  I have a great deal of trouble selecting my mostest favoritest song on this album, but I have to go with these two for now...

    ZZ Top rocks! Love the older tunes like "Cheap Sunglasses" and "I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide" and "Tush"

    Are there any bad ZZ Top songs? I don't remember any. So glad I got to see them in concert. Most memorable concert I've ever been to.

    @ Bubba... What in the HELL is someone in Michigan doing with the name of Bubba?!?!?!? LMBO...

    I LOVE the old ZZTOP stuff... 'La Grange,' 'Jesus Just Left Chicago...' They most certainly DO rock!!!

    @ Barb... I don't think there are any bad ones... I didn't care foe the songs from ZZ's 'techno' era... but the three chords and a cloud of dust just blow me away!!!!!

    @ Bathwater... well, the chances of this guy landing a 'hot' girl are slim, I'm thinking... ;o)

    Evidently, though, he must have been happy... Ha!!

    @ Annie... I know!! it's sad... she/he was such a cute little girl... and then Life and Genetics just kind of kicked in!! I hope you have a great weekend!!!!

    SHOES.... this has nothing to do with anything but I keep wanting to tell you that there is a camp at Burning Man called BARBIE DEATH CAMP and WINE BISTRO. Nothing but Barbie's in all sorts of positions and costumes. TWISTED ... you'd love it!

    I did have the 'comment withholding' on for a bit when I was getting some rather different comments, but I prefer for the posting to be easy...

    A couple of weeks ago (few maybe) I spent some nights in La Grange... but the chicken house got moved!!! I stayed in a different shack...

    I'm thinkin' there ARE NOT any ZZ Top songs that are not my favorite...
